Why is the Bible flawed? If it were truly written (inspired) by God, it would be perfect as he supposedly is. Matthew 5:48 says that we should be perfect, just as God is perfect; Ephesians 5:1 says that we should imitate God. Which is it? The Bible (the Book HE wrote) states that God has screwed up and that he screwed up so badly that he repented…Whom did he repent to? See Genesis 6:7, Exodus 32.14, Judges 2:18, I Samuel 15:35, II Samuel 24:16, I Chronicles 21:15, Psalm 106:45, Jeremiah 26:19, Amos 7:3, Amos 7:6 (KJV) God told Adam and Eve that when they ate of the fruit, they would die (Genesis 2:17). Whoever has read the Bible knows that they ate the Forbidden Fruit and DID NOT DIE. Now we know that this was a "White Lie" because they did not die instantly but did eventually. The way it was composed is deceptive and manipulative but technically still a lie. To lie is a SIN but God is supposed to be perfect so how could he sin?
Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44). He can appear as an "angel of light" (II Corinthians 11:14). How do you know that you are not worshipping Satan? The Bible mixes lies with just enough truth to make it convincing. Are you certain that this “holy book” you base your life on is not an elaborate tool created by Satan to manipulate you into doing his dirty work? (In the Gnostic Gospels Jesus was the Serpent in the Garden of Eden) II Kings 6:28-29 tells the story of someone who actually ate her own child because God wanted her to as a punishment. He threatens to make people eat their own children often; Leviticus 26:29; Ezekiel 5:10; Jeremiah 19:9;That’s horrible!II Thessalonians 2:11-12 states that God sends a powerful delusion to certain people, causing them to believe a lie, so that they will be condemned to an eternity in Hell. Why would a supposed Loving God do such a thing? What kind of Loving God would use his power to delude the mind of a lower being? A sadistic one.
Samuel 24:1 says that the Lord incited David to take a census of Israel; I Chronicles 21:1 clearly states that Satan incited David to take a census of Israel. This suggests God and Satan are one and the same, at least according to the Bible.
The Bible is filled with death orders. What about “thou shalt not kill”? Was he joking when he said, “Do not Judge Lest Ye be judged?” The punishment for breaking any of the first Seven Commandments is DEATH. Technically by “the word of God” Jesus should have been put to death as a child. (See Deuteronomy 21:18ff) Have you ever worked on a Saturday? If you have then according to the Bible (." Exodus 31:15) you should be put to death. Yes, I said Saturday, that is actually the Sabbath. Adulterers are condemned to death as well (Leviticus 20:10) if you have ever had an affair I bet you’re glad we are not under Biblical Law. I’ve never read anything about God condemning abortion in the Bible but there is a lot of Baby killing going on. . In Genesis 22, God ordered Abraham to kill his own child. II Samuel 12:15-20 What kind of God would kill an innocent Baby because it was the product of it’s PARENTS Adultery? Leviticus 20:27 Commands that Mediums be put to Death. Have you ever cursed your parents? If you have the Bible says you should be killed in Exodus 21:17. In Deuteronomy 13:1-5 states that anyone who preaches a God other than your God should be put to death. Are you a Christian? If you are than how many people have you killed as your God has commanded? If you haven’t, then why not? You should obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29 Acts 4:19) I would love to hear you explain why you choose NOT to follow your god’s commandments on this matter. You thump your Bibles and demand that his word be followed; Why do you not practice what you preach?Deuteronomy 22:13-21 States that if a woman is not a virgin when she is married she should be killed. Do you think anyone who followed this command considered that perhaps the women’s Hymen broke due to some external force (maybe being kicked by a Donkey or thrown off a Camel) etc.
Have you sinned against your God lately? God says that Dogs are not to be permitted in Churches or the Home because they are unclean Beasts. I guess Fido has to live outside so you wont go to Hell.Do you wear pure Silk or pure Cotton? Your God says you cannot wear clothing made of two kinds of material, Leviticus 19:19. We knew those Polyblend shirts were awful but we never condemned you to hell for it!
It seems God has a different set of guidelines regarding women. Women are second-class citizens in God's eyes. In fact, in Exodus 21:7ff, God gives instructions on how a father can sell his own daughter into slavery. The Bible commands that women are NOT permitted to speak in Church. The Bible states that a Woman must submit to her husband. In Exodus there is a list of property belonging to your neighbor that you shall not covet, your neighbor’s wife is listed as Property. How do Christians follow this doctrine in an age Women’s Rights?
The Bible also specifically condones Slavery, Ephesians 6:5"Slaves, obey your earthly masters.” Leviticus 25:44;Exodus 21:2 That’s a little too much to be passed off easily. Most of the Africans adopted the religion of their masters, Christianity. Why did they leave once the emancipation Proclamation was signed? (After the war ended in the south)Could have possibly been because they knew in their hearts that wasn’t right?
The “Rock” argument often comes up but to me it’s more of a paradox however it raises a good point. If God were truly omnipotent then why would he create something he cannot overcome? (See Judges 1:19) Genesis 3:8-9 indicates that Adam and Eve successfully hid themselves from God. Wouldn’t Omnipotent entail being All Knowing? You could argue that I have the definition of Omnipotent wrong.Omnipotent- having almighty or infinite Power.You would have lost that argument. Were Adam and Eve equal or superior to God once they ate from the Tree of Knowledge? There was never any indication of that. According to the Bible they made children who then married each other and produced more offspring. Doesn’t God hate incest? (Lot also slept with his daughters and got them pregnant, yet he was the only righteous man in S&G) Isaiah 40:28 states that God doesn't grow tired or weary, so explain to me why he had to rest on the seventh day.
Jesus said to his followers to turn the other cheek. He also came to the defense of an adulterer and said, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” The underlying but often prominent tone of the Gospel pertaining to Christ were about Peace, Love and Understanding. Why did Jesus Command His followers to Purchase swords even if it meant losing the shirt off your back? (Luke 22:36) Jesus said to hate the sin and Love the Sinner, How many Christians actually follow this? It wouldn’t be the first account in the Bible of Christ contradicting himself. (John 8:14) Don’t believe me, go look it up!Jesus says that the truth will set you free -John 8:32. I’m sure most of you are familiar with the passages John 21:15-17. Where Jesus asks Simon “Do you Love me?” 2 or 3 times in Greek. The language that was spoken in the areas where Jesus lived was Aramaic. There is no word for Love in ancient Aramaic unless you believe Jesus knew Greek. Are you willing to admit that Jesus may have traveled to different lands and studied their Spiritual practices, becoming eclectic? How else do you explain the Gap in between the Gospels? How do you explain the Gospels of his childhood? Which of his disciples traveled back in time to bare witness to “young Jesus”?
After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina I heard a lot of Theologians and run of the mill Christians discussing the reasons they believed God did it. They said that in some other language (they could not reference) Katrina meant, “to cleanse” and the reason that it happened was because of Mardi gras. Who could worship a God who is so hateful, petty, and sadistic? Have you ever heard of he Book of Enoch? It’s probably not in your Bible. Are you aware of the many Books of importance that did not make it into the Bible? Did you ever wonder why? Many Christians despise the Catholics and call them Idolaters but they only need study their history to discover the books in their Bibles are only there because the early church willed them to be there. In the book of Enoch God takes Enoch down the Gates of Hell and demands that the Gates be opened. The gates are opened and all of the Souls are set free. God tells Enoch that Hell does not last forever but you cannot tell anyone because they would be more inclined to Sin if they knew the truth. II Kings 2:11 says that Elijah ascended to heaven in a whirlwind. John 3:13 says that nobody before Jesus ever ascended into heaven, so I guess they all went to Hell innocent or not. Why would certain books be excluded? The Church wanted the Bible to read as they saw fit so that they could maintain absolute power. No, this can’t be true, the Church is concerned for the salvation of our souls, and they wouldn’t lie to us. No, No, of course not! The Catholic Church just became the richest and most powerful Organization in the world simply because they were God’s favorite.
Why are Christians always trying to disprove Science? Is it because they are afraid of the truth? The fact that we are genetically so closely related to Chimpanzees makes them feel Animal and Ugly yet they base their lives on a book that is all that and more… The Bible tells us that the Israelites wandered in the Sinai desert for 40 years, and that most of them died there (Numbers 14:20-24). Using the census numbers from Exodus and Numbers, that means that approximately two million people died in 40 years in a relatively small area (and we know where it is). Are you aware that there is absolutely no archaeological evidence of those people having been in this part of the world. Nehemiah 7:66 says, "The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and three-score (42,360)." But if you add the figures between Nehemiah 7:8 and Nehemiah 7:62, the total for all the tribes is 31,089, not 42,360 You mean to tell me that the Jews were used to build the Pyramids (which would have required a rudimentary knowledge of architecture/Mathematics) yet they couldn’t figure out how many of them there were? Where are the Bones? The Bible only says that God hid Moses’ bones from Satan. Joshua 10:12ff tells a story about God making the sun "stand still" for about one extra day. If the Earth stood still the sun would still be revolving around it so nobody would have know the difference. If the Sun and Earth stood still that would have gotten some attention. Why is there no other record of this? Why didn’t the Chinese, the Celts, the Mayans, or the Aztecs note such a spectacular celestial event? All those people followed the stars and planets religiously yet there is no other Non-Biblical account of this.
Do you know that most Jews do not believe in an afterlife? Are you aware that there is no description of it in the Old Testament? You should know that Hel was actually taken from Norse beliefs and was described to be more along the lines of Heaven.
Did you know that Christmas and Easter are actually Pagan Holidays? You mean to tell me that you never wondered what the hell Easter Eggs and Bunny Rabbits had to do with Jesus? Everything about Christmas is Pagan, the tree, the presents, the Mistletoe, the wreaths, and even the feast your Mother always cooks up. Yep, its All Pagan (except the Candy Cane) The Early Church simply moved their holidays over the Pagan ones to boost Church attendance and Conversions. Why is it that in Genesis the Hebrew word for God is plural? In Genesis It says” let US create man in our own image.” If there is only one God then whom was he talking to?
If you have ever read any books on another culture’s God you may have come across quite a few stories that sound a lot like the Story of Jesus. There are many pre-Christian myths about a god-man who comes to earth, is born of a virgin (Romulus), sacrifices himself, and is resurrected. Buddha accomplished similar feats that Christians refer to as “miracles”Gods were killed and resurrected long before the Bible was ever written such as Dionysus and Osiris. Many Pre-Christian God-men fed the Multitudes with little or NOTHING to work on; they healed the sick, and even walked on water. These Pagan myths and concepts were merely applied to Jesus to make him appear more divine.
You may argue that some of the Gospels were translated wrong. Could a scribe be so inept as to get the words for God and Satan mixed up? I highly doubt it since they are two different words. Most of the Bibles translated to English were originally translated from Hebrew, Latin, and Greek. Do you read a Bible written in these languages? Can you show proof that something, anything was mistranslated? If you can then you’re better than all the linguists in the world. You may say that not everything in the Bible is to be taken literally. This is true however, anyone with a fifth grade education or high can plainly see what is implied as literal and what is implied metaphorically; i.e. a Camel fitting through the eye of a needle, etc. Unless you're that stupid but Christias claim they see Christ in the oddest places so go figure......
I am not against Jesus, I think if his teachings of Love, Peace, and Understanding were followed as they claim to be then Christians would not be judgemental, deceitful, hateful, and petty. Most Christians today are hypocrites for claiming they are Christians.
I think that Jesus or the tale of Jesus, just like all the earlier tales is that we are all Divine “children of god”, made in the image of Divinity why would God create beings that were not perfect unless he was sadistic therefore, Divine. We can “ascend into heaven”, a higher state of being if we can achieve perfection.
There’s too much scientific evidence that cannot be denied. Logically it would seem there are only a few explanations.1. A sick and sadistic God created us.2. There is no God, we have evolved into what we are and have the potential to become “divine.”3. We were spawned by an Alien Race far more evolved than we are and we cling to fairy tales to eliminate our fear of a pointless existence; And our fear of Death. LOL

I read in Matthew 2:23 that it was spoken by the prophets that "He [Jesus] shall be called a Nazarene." Can you find this prophecy in the Old Testament for me, please, or in any other writing that existed prior to 31 CE?
Ecclesiastes 1:4 says that the earth will last forever; II Peter 3:10 says that it won't What gives?
Do you hate your mother and father? Jesus said that if you don't, you can't be his disciple (Luke 14:26 What about "thou shalt honor thy mother and Father?"
Do you believe that anyone has ever seen God? Isaiah clearly stated that he did (Isaiah 6:1); but John said (twice) that nobody has ever seen God at any time (I John 4:12; John 1:18).
Eating Rabbit Meat is a sin.(Deuteronomy 14:7 )
Jesus himself specifically commanded people not to pray in public (Matthew 6:5-6) Do you still want prayer in School?
The Bible promises that God will meet ALL your needs (Philippians 4:19). I hope you don't have any kind of insurance or even work for a living, God might get offended.

In Proverbs 26:4, God orders you not to answer a fool according to his folly. In the very next verse, Proverbs 26:5, God orders you to do the exact opposite — that is, he orders you to answer a fool according to his folly!
The Bible records that Eve ate the fruit because she wanted to gain wisdom (Genesis 3:6); God commands us to obtain wisdom (Proverbs 4:5).
Judges 1:19 Your Supposedly "Omnipotent" God cannot overcome Iron Chariots.
In Isaiah 7:14 we read a prophecy about a virgin having a baby, and she names it "Immanuel." Matthew 1:23 tells us that this was a prophecy of Jesus
Jeremiah 3:12 reads, "For I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger forever." Fourteen chapters later (Jeremiah 17:4), God says, "Ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn forever."
